MONROE SAND LEVEL CONTROL SWITCHES The Rotary Type
Bin Switch serves as an excellent sand level control.
The unit has a Teflon shaft seal is moisture and dust tight. Housing is cast aluminum. The switch can be removed from service without emptying the sand tank. Mounting is extremely simple. The Diaphragm Type Bin Switch is designed for use in sand storage tanks. The sand covers the diaphragm, the deflection actuates a micro-switch which can be utilized to turn warning lights on or off, actuate sound warning devices or to control electrical circuits. It is available with either one or two SPDT micro-switches. Neoprene or high temperature diaphragm is available. The high temperature diaphragm is required when used around sand drying installations. Two bin switches are required on each tank when utilized for high and low level sand control. When used in conjunction with indicating lights, the upper switch indicates when the tank is full and the lower switch indictes when it is low on sand. This information tells when to refill the tank and also when to stop filling to prevent overflow. Monroe Engineering 3575 - 3rd Avenue P.O.
