Full Flow, Weatherproof Dry Sand Shut-Off Valves for Sand Elevating
Full
flow, round port design assures passage of sand and air with
minimum turbulence. This feature also eliminates clogging at this point.
Shut-off is accomplished through a 90 degree eccentric action and little
effort is required to operate them. They will not freeze when left in
open or closed position for long periods of time. Seal is made through
mating ball-shaped plug and round machined seat. The machined seat is
not eroded by the flow of the sand. When in the fully open position,
the inner ball is turned toward the valve housing and also protected
from the flow of sand. The valves are ruggedly constructed of nickel
iron and working pressure is 125 psi.
